Being Thankful

As we come toward the end of the year, no matter which holidays you might be celebrating, we all should take a few minutes to slow down and be thankful for the meaningful things in our lives. I personally have a long list of things to give thanks for.  At the top of my list is my family and my health. I am especially grateful that I don’t wake up everyday hungry and wondering how to survive the day. I am thankful that I can create a list of things I am thankful for that doesn’t have to be terribly serious. Here area few things I came up with.

  • Taxes (I wouldn’t owe them if I had no income. Hard sell though)

  • My Veterinarian
  • That Yertle, our 1999 Honda Civic, starts every morning

    • Not sure how frugal, but I’ ve been in the fanclub for years, and for $40 a year, I can get awesome tickets if they ever come near me.

  8. Great list! Cheesecake and heated seats definitely top my list. :) It would take me awhile to figure out all of the things I’m thankful for. It’s nearly impossible to come up with all of them!

I am thankful for my 2 sons & my boyfriend, my extended family & friends, our good health, small comfortable home, reliable car, debt-free lifestyle, job, opportunities for travel… those are the biggies! I’m also thankful for our dog, garden, my boyfriend’s italian cooking, our computers & phones, all the little things that make life easier!
