Can’t Take My Eyes Off These Blogs #13-Veteran’s Edition

Happy Saturday everyone. We got our first taste of winter last night, and it’s supposed to be colder tomorrow. It’s time, but I will miss the warm fall weather we’ve been having. This weekend, I’m very happy the election is over, and I’m incredibly grateful to all the men and women who serve or have served in our armed forces to make sure we continue to have the right to vote and express our opinions. Please take a moment to remember and thank them this upcoming Veteran’s Day.

I was fortunate enough to blog swap with the lovely Pauline from Reach Financial Independence. Her guest post for his week was about Having a Cheap European Holiday and she shared my post about Caring for Your Eyes On Holiday: 5 Tips From  a Pro at Reach Financial Independence. (Pauline added the part about the pro!)

  1. Hi Kim,
I’m not a big fan of fundraisers either at least initially. When the big day comes I get right in there as I enjoy raising money for charity. I’ve yet to bake for a charity fundraiser but I’d be proud to showcase my Fudgy Brownies lol.. Enjoy your weekend my dear. Cheers Mr.CBB

    • Our humane society has bake sales all the time and I don’t mind those, just all the crap the school send home to sell. I’d rather just make a donation.

  2. Maybe you can offer those brothel blogs a guest post with your experience staying at one! Thanks for the mention.

  3. It’s very cold here too! But very sunny and beautiful so we’ll try to enjoy the weather before it returns to rain!

  4. Thanks for the mention! I hope you are having a great weekend!!

  5. Brothel blogs? Now that sounds like an interesting blog to read. I’m sure they’d have some entertaining stories. It would make sense business-wise to have something to do between clients too. I guess that searcher was a little disappointed to only find a photo outside an old brothel. Thanks for the mention and enjoy your weekend Kim.

  6. Mandy - Money Master Mom

Thanks for including me…. wait, no, the dragon’s still moving, stab it again STAB IT AGAIN!!!!!!

  7. Thanks so much for the mention! Our weather is crazy here. It got to 80 today and they’re calling for snow tonight…craziness! Have a great weekend!

  8. Thanks for mentioning my post. Have a great weekend!

  9. Thanks for the (indirect) mention. If you ever want to share a recipe or a kitchen tip, I’d love to have you.

  10. Great list! I would check these articles later. Thanks for sharing!

  11. Hey Kim, Thanks so much for the mentions! Really appreciate it! Is it still getting colder there? Hope your week goes well!!

  12. Thanks for sharing those blogs. I’d definitely read them one by one and see what info I could get especially something about making home made stuff to earn as well as the retirement thing. Keep it up.
